The 8th edition of challenge trophy in Afica has started in zone 2 with the tournament held in Bamako in Mali from 31st April to 2nd May 2009. It contineres in the other zones according to the following programme: - zone 3: 13rd to 20th April 2009 in Lomé (Togo) - zone 4: 13rd to 17th April 2009 in Bangui (Republic of Central Africa) - zone 5: 30th August to 6th September 2009 in Bujumbura (Burundi) - zone 6: 24th to 30th May 2009 in Lusaka (Zambia) The new formula of this competition concerns all the athletes aged less than 20 years from the National Handball Federations members of the African Handball Confederation.
