Zone Africa Qualification round for the 1st Youth Olympic Games, Singapore 2010

The African Handball Confederation has awarded to the Senegalese Handball Federation the organisation of the qualification round for the 1st Youth Olympic Games, Singapore 2010. As a result, from the next 20th to 28th March, the Senegalese town Thies will receive the national teams of boys and girls born between January 1st 1992 and December 31st 1993. In boys : Algeria, Democratic republique of Congo, Egypt, Guinea Bissau, Morocco, Siera Leone, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal. In girls : Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’ivoire, Angola and Senegal.

The draw ceremony of this event will take place on the 20th March 2010 in Thies at Lat Dior hotel at 08.00 pm.

NB : the first teams (boys and girls) will be qualified for the Singapore event which will be held from 14 to 26 August 2010.
